Eddie's story
It was the opening day of archery season in PA. It was my first year hunting by myself and I was really excited to finally go out on my own. I was hunting on new land too, my friend Eric finally said I could use his hunting spot. I got up early Saturday morning around 4:30 am and headed out to Eric's place, it's around 25 minutes from my house and that gave me enough time to make coffee in the morning. I had already put all my hunting stuff in my truck the night before, so when I woke up all I had to do was make coffee and eat and then leave. I got in my truck and headed to Eric’s place around 4:55 am. Once I got to Eric's I put on my hunting pants, jacket, boots and hat. I put my climber stand on my back and grabbed my bow and I was off into the woods. I found the area I had checked out a couple days prior and climbed up the tree I had picked out to hunt in. I got up to the right height in the tree and got myself situated. I checked my phone and it was 5:38 am, just the perfect time to get into position. I sat around until like 7:30 am before I saw the first group of deer, a couple doe a fawn and a spike and 4 point nothing I can shoot. They left and I sat around for another hour and saw 2 doe trot along right past me but no buck. It was now around 9:15 am, I haven't seen any more deer since those last 2 doe and I had no idea why because it was the perfect time the rut was just kicking in and it was a nice cool October morning. I saw a coyote walking by and he stopped right in front of me, I stood up slowly and drew back my bow. He was about 30 yards away from me. I Put the pin right on his vitals and let go, perfect lung shot. He dropped about 20 yards from where I shot him. I scaled down the tree and walked over to the coyote, he was a good one probably around 30 pounds. I got my knife out and gutted him, once I was done I drug him over to my tree stand cover him up with some fallen leaves and got back into my tree stand. It was now around 10:00 am and I didn't see any deer for about 2 hours. I grabbed my backpack and pulled out my turkey and cheese sandwich, I ate that and once I was done 3 deer ran out just more doe. It was now around 3:00 pm and I still hadn’t seen any deer since those last 3 doe. I saw a couple deer about 300 yards out, I grabbed my binoculars and looked at the deer. I couldn't make out if they were doe or not buck the one was big and it looked way too big to be a doe. They were walking my direction slowly. Once they were finally close enough I could see that it was a buck. I looked through my binoculars and saw he was a nice 8 point. I grabbed my bow and lined up the shot, he was about 60 yards out. I aimed right at the lungs and fired. He took off running after i hit him, it wasn’t a great shot i could tell i hit him higher in the shoulder. I got down out of my tree stand and went to the spot where I shot him. I could see some blood but not much. I followed the trail of blood for a while and was walking all over the mountain. I followed the trail for what felt like a couple hours and it was now around 4:00 pm. It was getting dark out and I gave up on finding the deer. The blood trail has gone dry and I can't find him anywhere. Just as I gave up it started raining, I couldn't even follow the blood trail back to where I first shot him. I was now completely lost in the middle of the woods miles from where I was hunting and have no idea where to go.

Paul's story
It was July 12th and it was a perfect morning, sunny and 75 outside. I had just gotten up and was around 8:00 am. I got up and made myself something to eat, got dressed for the day and headed out to the store. I needed to make a grocery run and get some gas for my dirt bike. I planned on going for a ride on this new path I found while riding around the other day. I got to the store around 10:30 am, The place was crowded as hell. There were so many people out, I grabbed all the stuff I needed and got out of that place. I headed for home and it was now around 11:15 am. Once I got home I put away all my groceries and started watching TV. I had nothing to do all day. I watched TV for about an hour before I fell asleep, I slept for a couple of hours and it was now around 4:00 pm I got up and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a water and headed out to the yard to start up the grill. I got it started and made myself a steak and a baked potato. I got done and it was now around 5:30 pm I went back into my house and watched a quick movie that was on TV. It was now around 6:48 pm and I was ready to go ride my dirt bike. I got up and put on some jeans a hoodie and some boots. I got on my dirt bike and headed out for the new trail I found. The new trail I found was on someone else's property so I had to be careful. I rode around for about 20 minutes until I got to the trail, once I got to it I started to rip it and flew through the trail. I was on the trail for about 10 minutes until I reached the end. At the end was some random old house. The house looked awful like nobody lived in it. I rode around it a little bit looking at it. It had vines growing all over the side of it and windows were all boarded up. As I was riding around I got the front of the house, I stopped and looked at it. As I stopped, the front door swung open and an old dude popped out. He had a gun and he started shooting at me and yelled “get the hell off of my property.” I gassed it out of there and just got the hell away from him. I just kept driving until my bike shut down and stalled. I forgot to put gas into my bike and I was completely lost in the middle of the woods. I had no idea where I was with no phone and nothing but a useless dirt bike.

Anthony's story
It was June 3rd around 3:00 pm. My friends and I were hanging out. We decided to play manhunt cause we were super bored. We were at my friend Jacobs house he owned like 40 acres in the mountains in west Virginia. He had the perfect yard to play manhunt in. We all drew straws to see who would be the hunter first, and of course it was Jacob like it always was. He drew the short straw and closed his eyes while we all ran away to hide. I was nervous running around in his woods because I didn't know the area that great. I had just started hanging out with these guys so I haven't had much experience at their houses. I kept Running and once I was pretty far into the woods I took a break. I got my breath back and looked around for a place to hide. I found a good fallen tree to hide behind and I sat down next to it and waited for them to start running around to find me. I sat around for a while and ended up falling asleep because I was so bored because nobody had found me yet. I woke up and it was now dark outside and I started to freak out. I couldn’t see anything and had no idea where I was. I started running in the direction I thought I came from but ended up falling down a massive hill. I tumbled down the hill and finally came to a stop. My body felt battered and I now had a headache. I looked up the hill and saw that I wouldn't be able to climb back up it. I was now stuck in the middle of legit nowhere and had no help. My phone was almost dead and i couldn't charge it. Like the phone would have helped anyways, there was no cell service out here anyways. Now i was stuck in the middle of the woods with what felt like a concussion, I was all alone with no idea of what i should do..
